Dřevo is one of the most unique beers we ever made at our brewery. The beer is based on our Vanocni, which is a Doppelbock, but our Dřevo was wood-aged on American oak for about two months in the tank. Thanks to that Dřevo has wooden tones with hints of Bourbon and vanilla. We achieved this by adding 240 planks of wood directly in the tank. The beer has hints of caramel with a pleasant zest and considering it's higher alcohol content is dangerously drinkable. It was created by our creative brewmaster Michal Veselý, who got inspired by an Oak-aged Doppelbock from th German brewery Camba Bavaria.
